There will be a mixture of town specific and all-town group practices. The timetable and venues for these will be announced on Saturday 30 November.
The practice rehearsals will run on either Friday evenings, Saturdays or Sundays from Friday 6 to Sunday 22 December. There won’t be any rehearsals during the Christmas and New Year period and they will then resume at the weekends from Friday 3 January to Sunday 2 February.

We will be holding all the All-Town group practices in Galway city, the venue will be announced shortly. Our support staff will be on hand at each event.
The all-town group practices will bring together all the casting groups from the seven towns into one place at the same time to rehearse the show together. All participants from the town events will take part in the finale in Galway city on Saturday 8 February.
If you are sensitive to noise, we recommend you bring some earplugs with you as there will be percussionists playing. Earplugs can be bought at your local hardware store or pharmacy.

Organisers will be on hand on the day to show you into the venue. When you arrive, please make your way to the main entrance.
The duration of the rehearsal depends on the casting group you are in and the commitment required for that group.

We have carefully organised each rehearsal to ensure we make them as accessible as possible for participants, rehearsals are not on a fixed day or time so everyone can make the maximum amount of rehearsals.

You sure can. There will be plenty of new faces to meet at the rehearsals and it’s a great way to build community in your neighbourhood. You will have fun.

You will be signed in at each rehearsal. For the first town rehearsal only, please bring with you a printed copy or digital copy (phone or tablet) of your email invitation and one form of photo ID with you. This can be in the form of your driver’s licence, provisional licence or passport.

Wear clothing and shoes that are comfortable and that you can move around in easily; it’s not going to be a gym class but there will be some activity, so you need to wear something you can sit, stand and walk in comfortably.

You are welcome to bring your own snacks (except any snacks containing nuts) with you to rehearsals and please dispose of the packaging responsibly.

Yes, you can. However, you may not get your first choice as roles will be filled on a first come, first served basis, so sign up as soon as you can.
If you have a part that requires practicing, we encourage you to practice at home as much as you would like until you feel comfortable with the piece. Practice makes perfect.
