Livefeed: The Making Of, a short documentary, premiering on September 10 at 8pm on the Livefeed YouTube Channel

On Friday, September 10 at 8pm, you can watch the premiere of a short documentary on the Livefeed project – how it came about, developed, adapted and what it all meant to the young people involved.

April 2021 saw the culmination of Livefeed’s epic journey with Galway 2020 which started in 2019 and took in workshops and gigs across the city and county, as well as a whole series of live and pre-recorded performances after the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Between January 2019 and December 2019 Livefeed worked with young people in Galway city, Gort, Kinvara, Headford, and Tuam to organise youth music events which participants helped to produce as performers, photographers, sound engineers and MCs. 

When the COVID-19 pandemic led to the closure of the live music industry, Livefeed adapted by moving to online presentation through livestreamed concerts and high quality pre-recorded concerts.
