Plurabelle is a solo dance film commission.

Kristyn Fontanella draws from her knowledge of traditional dance to create new rhythmical patterns and shapes inspired by the fall of rain on her body and the South Galway landscape.

Listening to the raindrops, to the wind. Listening to what was happening around to hear what was happening within. Finding new movement patterns from playing in puddles where raindrops fell.

Having toured worldwide with Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, Kristyn is now based in County Galway, choreographing work which sits between the traditional and the contemporary.
