Inspired by a long tradition of growing apples in Devon Park and nearby Devon Gardens, Salthill, Úlla Buaile is a project undertaken by members of the Devon Park Residents Association as part of the Galway 2020 Small Towns Big Ideas programme.

On Thursday, 10 October the culmination of the community project will come to fruition with the launch of a photographic exhibition taking place at 7pm in Engage Art Studios, Salthill.

The photographs, by Conor Ledwith, show the cyclical nature of growth over Spring, Summer and Autumn and were taken over an eight-month period from January to September 2019

The exhibition will be open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm until Saturday 19 October.

Admission is free.
