Wires Crossed – A Balancing Act for Europe is produced by Galway Community Circus in partnership with Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture and the European Funambulism Network.
Galway Community Circus are holding a taster workshops for Wires Crossed on Sunday 2 June, 2019.
Wires Crossed is an ambitious project that promotes physical and mental well-being, safe risk-taking and social inclusion through the art of wire walking, or funambulism, and will see 400 people trained in the art of funambulism cross the Claddagh Basin and River Corrib on highwires in 2020.
There will be two drop in sessions on the day, 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm.
The workshop is free to attend and ages 10+ are welcome.
