Unfortunately, Wires Crossed Tipperary has been postponed due to Level 5 restrictions, However, Wires Crossed is currently taking bookings from groups and schools in Tipperary for creative days out for TY students. Classes of 24 can be divide into two groups, who can do Wire Walking and percussion in its outdoor amphitheatre.
Wires Crossed Tipperary offers the amazing opportunity for individuals and groups to experience the positive impacts of taking part in an exciting Funambulism / Wire Walking community programme.
This community circus programme invites participants to try out funambulism during a two-day public event on September 26 & 27 2020. Cloughjordan Circus Club will be introducing an outdoor wire walking workshops on The Village Green, St Kierans Hall. Participants will get the opportunity to walk wires using a 4m pole for balance – and great for social distancing!
The phase two autumn/spring programme of Funambulism is planned to take place from October 2020 – March 2021 by Cloughjordan Circus Club in collaboration with Galway Community Circus.
Cloughjordan Circus Club is a youth arts organisation based in Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary, which provides high-quality circus training, workshops and performance opportunities for young people aged 8-25 years.
