Wednesday 18 September was a day to remember as we launched our year-long programme for 2020.
Musician and Galway native Anna Mullarkey and French performance company Gratte Ciel wowed the audience of over 4,000 spectators gathered in Eyre Square with a spectacular live performance, presented in partnership with the French Embassy in Ireland.
As one of the largest cultural events in the world, Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture will deliver a year of thrilling, life-enhancing experiences through culture and the arts.
“The eyes of the world will be on Galway for 2020”
