Circuit is a week-long transdisciplinary art festival inviting you to rediscover Galway City – its history, identity and place within Europe – in new and unexpected ways.

As agents of change, artists play a major role in shaping a nation over time. Centering around the 126 Gallery’s ‘Meaningful / Encounters‘ theme, Circuit will spark meaningful conversations among our changing population and support artists by weaving their work into the fabric of everyday life in Galway City.

The festival kicks off at 126 Artist-Run Gallery on Friday, 16 October with the reveal of a public artwork from Shane O’Driscoll; music from Maija Sofia, Touché, Ikenna Anyabuike; and poetry from Laura Caffrey, Ruth Quinlan and Francis Lawrence. From there,  a trail of art instalments and pop-up events will lead visitors through the streets of Galway towards Salthill in the west.

Visitors can look forward to exciting work from artists Epoch, Kevin Gaffney, Luke Reidy, Austin Ivers, Peter Bradley and more. Workshops in drawing, life drawing and zine-making will run throughout the week.

Full programme and booking details to be announced soon.
