WOOL Showcase | Irish Designers & Makers promotes and celebrates home-grown fashion design in wool and exciting contemporary designers, makers and producers, through a series of art photographs by Eilish McCormick and live installation
Curated by International Art Director and Stylist, Paula Hughes the programme includes a screening of Fí, a fashion film created and directed by the acclaimed filmmaker and photographer Perry Ogden in collaboration with creative fashion director Paula Hughes. This beautifully crafted work of film weaves together our extraordinary landscapes.
Designers and Makers include: Designers and Makers include Colin Burke, The Tweed Project, Bernie Murphy, Edel MacBride, Magee 1866, Rebecca Marsden, Landskein, Albina McLaughlin, Fisherman out of Ireland, West End Knitwear, Electronic Sheep, Golden Fleece, Fintan Mulholland, Hanna Hats with makers including Cushendale Woollen Mills, Eddie Doherty, Fiona Daly, McConnell Woollen Mills, Studio Donegal, Foxford Woollen Mills, Molloy & Sons and Mourne Textiles. Donegal Yarns with Yarn Vibes will present 100% organic Irish wool. Jane McCann & Sirpa Morsky, and works from ‘Wool Works’ in natural fibres, wool and linen.
